How Long Do Vape Coils Last?
When you are in the early stages of transitioning from smoking to vaping, you would probably assume that e-liquid will be your biggest recurring cost. However, once you start using your first vape kit, you will learn that vape coils are really just as important as e-liquid spending. In fact, you could spend more on reels than e-liquid if your reels don't last long.
This brings us to the essential question that this article will answer: how long do vaping coils last? If you find yourself constantly replacing burnt-out vape coils, chances are you're spending more on vaping than you really need to. We will tell you how you can have a better vaping experience and spend less on vaping coils.
But first, let's learn a little more about how vape coils work.
How Long Does a Vape Coil Last?
The short answer to this question is that a vape coil will usually last at least a few days. You should be able to refill a tank or vaporizer multiple times before the coil's flavor quality permanently degrades. The most important thing to understand the lifespan of a heating coil is that a coil does not stop working when it reaches the end of its lifespan. In reality, a spiral degrades much more slowly than that. Over time, the spiral begins to break and its flavor gradually changes. As you use the coil, it starts to have a burnt smell and slowly becomes less pleasant to use. However, deciding when to replace the resistor is entirely up to you.
If you replace your vaping coils as soon as the flavor changes a bit, you will find that your coils don't last very long. On the other hand, your coils can last quite a while if you're not very sensitive to the flavor changes that occur in an aging coil.
At best, it is possible for a vape coil to last more than a week without a noticeable change in flavor, but to last that long you may need to make some changes to the evaporation method.
